GameMNSTR is an independent gaming publication led by individuals with years of writing and editing experience in games journalism. We’re here for people who love discovering new games, digging deeper into old favorites, and finding something worth playing next.
While we cover games across all corners of the industry, monster-catching games have a special place here. From Pokemon classics to the growing number of indie monster tamers, we have a soft spot for the games that let you catch, collect, train, and build a team of creatures.
But that’s far from all we cover.
GameMNSTR also shines a spotlight on indie games, unusual titles, and games that have proven themselves with players. Whether that’s an unexpected breakout hit, a massive RPG, a cozy multiplayer game, or a small indie title that deserves a little more recognition, we’re interested in the games that capture our attention and earn a community of their own.
While we may not cover as many games as other outlets, every game we cover at GameMNSTR is one we’re genuinely passionate about. We spend hours playing the games we write about, exploring what makes them special and why they’ve earned a place in their communities.
Our coverage includes gameplay guides, walkthroughs, lists, news, quizzes, and more, with an emphasis on useful information and writing grounded in genuine, hands-on experience with the games we cover. At its heart, GAMEMNSTER is about the games worth talking about and the communities that make them special.
So, Why Does Your URL Have an ‘E’ in It?
You may have noticed something strange.
Our branding says GameMNSTR.
Our domain says GameMNSTER.
Why?
Because there used to be an E here. For real.
Unfortunately, our resident monster got to it.
We tried to get it back. He refused.
So now we’re just living with the consequences.

See this silly little guy? He’s the culprit.
The monster ate the E.
And honestly? We’re not going to fight him.
So GameMNSTR it is.
